TokenMonitor – Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TokenMonitor does not collect, transmit or store any personal data from the user’s ChatGPT conversations. All token calculations are performed entirely locally in the user’s browser.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

TokenMonitor does not access or collect:

• ChatGPT messages or prompts
• Conversation history
• Source code, uploaded files or attachments
• Browsing history
• Cookies
• IP address or device identifiers
• Any personal data from the ChatGPT page

3. Local Storage

The extension only stores a minimal set of data in chrome.storage.local:

• PRO license key (encrypted by Chrome)
• License plan type (FREE / PRO)
• PRO expiration date
• Snapshot alert preference

These data never leave the user’s device.

4. Server Communication

TokenMonitor communicates only with its official backend for one purpose: validating PRO license keys.

The backend does not receive or store any ChatGPT content, browsing data or personal information beyond the license key itself.

5. Payments (Stripe)

All payments are handled securely via Stripe Checkout. Stripe may collect billing details according to its own Privacy Policy.

TokenMonitor does not store credit card information or payment details on its servers.

6. Invoicing (Számlázz.hu – Hungary)

After a successful purchase, an invoice is automatically generated using the Számlázz.hu API. Only the legally required billing fields (e.g., name, email, VAT ID if provided) are used for invoice generation.
